Support Worker with a Difference

 Every Unicopia Support Worker is trained & participates in professional development. As a minimum, our Support Workers hold:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Successfully Completed;
  • Completed the NDIS New Worker Modules;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • CPR Certificate
  • Completed or enrolled currently in Individual Support (Disability & Aged Care) or have other Community, Education or Health qualifications

At Unicopia, we like to approach support differently. Managing shifts isn’t about the business budget, it is all about the participant. Managing Director Dr Chris Cameron’s objective is to provide a holistic level of care to all participants, especially those who are vulnerable in the community. As soon as care is about bottom lines, or making a large profit, care is compromised. Our promise to our participants: Our Support Workers will provide the necessary supports to assist the participant to live their life, how they wish to. We encourage independence & participation in the community. We will know our participants. We will assist our participants to make friends, maintain relationships with family & explore new activities, hobbies or interests. We will maintain strict confidentiality & privacy at all times. At all times our participants will be provided choice & control over their supports, daily life & every aspect of their individuality.
